OK not really our new pet. This is Mouse number 2 in our HUGE mouse escapade. These things are 8-10" long just with their body. The first one we killed. Its body fit in the dust pan snug. Bret says they are rats and he took this one away to be a mouse somewhere else far away. But their tails are kinda fuzzy so I don't know. That was two days ago. We caught our third one this morning. Its a little smaller. Ever since we caged our mouse a couple days ago, and Abby, our dog, caught the scent, she is in the "mouse closet" all day trying to sniff another one out. Abby is going nuts today. Finally, with all the mouse action going on in our house lately, she decided to get busy. Maybe she will find one herself one of these days that is not too fast. And they can "play".
