We went on a fishing trip this week. Well we headed over to the lake for a lesson in safe fishing and the kids were let go to try it on their own. We were there in time to see the lake stocked. First the fish were scooped out of the truck. Then they were weighed.
The kids were real excited to see the fish put into the lake. If I can try remember one of the more creative comments correctly, one of the kids exclaimed, "There's a floater! Bonus!"
Brenda caught a fish, but it jumped back in when she unhooked it. It was small anyway, not quite fish stick size.
Bret just had fun casting out.
Marley tried, but eventually headed off to a pile of rocks and sand to make a sand castle. Still a fun morning with friends.
