Today was such a beautiful day. With all the chilly weather lately, it was refreshing to have a brief moment out in the sun with friends. We sunned, skimmed the creek for fish and other creatures, and in the end most everyone was wet. Afterwards we headed up to the park for some swings and slides, happened upon another homeschool family, and ate lunch. Boy are those bees in full swing today. The cold hasn't put them to rest yet completely! Then back to the creek for a little more fun before retiring to our home for the rest of the day. Thank goodness I remembered to bring towels with me. Those would have been some mighty unhappy car seats if those wet butts sat down as they were.
These days are almost over for a while. We oughta soak them up while they last.
