Lily wanted to paint today so I got out the paints. She wanted to pour the paints into the egg cartons so I was the paint opener and she was the paint pourer. Then she told me how to make the extra colors she wanted, like brown and orange. Then we made grey by accident which was brown with too much blue in it.
Soon the girls came to paint with us. Bret made a Girl Scout cookie painting for her room and Brenda painted the planets. She asked me to google for a Solar System map. Which was unusual since we haven't really talked about that before. But she followed the map and produced her own solar system, soon to be hung on the walls of her room.
